RENEWAL FUND PLANNING HAS BEGUN
Late 2021 it was announced that £2.8 Million pounds was supporting 6 community projects in Stoke-on-Trent through the governments Renewal Fund. One of the community funds is a consortium of partners collectivly known as the Digital Innovation and Education Hub, and we are thrilled to announce we are one of the partners.
Our funding allocation will be spent delivering digital skills signposting to local school students and young people aged between 16 and 30 who are not in Employment, Education or Training.
We await confirmation of funding specifics yet deliver is meant to have already started, so planning is difficult to do but also needs to begin pretty quickly so we have started mapping out how the fund could be spent with the hope there are no suprises moving forward.
The core focus of our events will be digital creative skills from Digital Art to Animation working with local companies such as Carse & Waterman Productions, Popcorn Learning Media, Lesniak Swan, Cyber Kiln, Bigtooth Studios, Synectic Solutions and Inspired Film & Video as well as national companies like Industrial Light and Magic and VCCP.
Keep an eye out for more infomation coming soon.
